Shannon Dunn
Shannon Dunn was the first American to win a medal in snowboarding with a bronze in Nagano. Dunn's experience and third-place ranking at the FIS World Cup Olympic test event in Park City make her a strong medal contender. As for learning to snowboard in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, she says: "I had bruises all over my legs and couldn't move, but I liked it."
J.J. Thomas
