국적은 미국인 이지만 너무나도 친숙한 한국적 외모와 밝은 표정으로 고국의 분위기를 십분 전세계에 알리고 있어 사랑스럽고 자랑스럽습니다..^^ 그러나 혹시나 찾아 보니 역시 그녀도 부상 근처를 왔다 갔다 하며 고진 분투하고 있더군요.. 아래 2016년 본선 경기에서 파이프 끝 부분을 그냥 스킵 하는 것을 보여주면서 아나운서는 경기 전 몸 풀다가 부상 할뻔 한 장면으로 그 이유를 설명 합니다. 그녀는 그 기술은 다시하고 싶지 않아서였다고 하는군요. 파이프 바로 이 부분에서 기존 여제 켈리 클락은 확실히 차별화를 시도하려는 듯 하다가 넘어지면서 다음 세대를 등극 시키고 맙니다.

Chloe Kim (Korean: 김선, born April 23, 2000) is an elite American snowboarder, currently sponsored by Target. While being too young to compete in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics Kim earned silver in superpipe in the 2014 Winter X Games, coming behind Kelly Clark. In 2015 Chloe won Gold in the super pipe event in the Winter X Games beating Kelly Clark.[1] With this win, at age 14, Kim became the youngest gold medalist until she lost this record to Kelly Sildaru who won gold in 2016 at the age of 13.[2][3] In the 2016 X Games, she became the first person under the age of 16 to win three gold medals (and thus the first such person to win back-to-back gold medals) at an X Games.[4][5] At that year's U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix, she became the first woman to land back-to-back 1080 spins in a snowboarding competition.[5] She scored a perfect 100 points, and is believed to be the second rider ever to do so, after Shaun White.[6]
